Tinkerbell Fairy Party

Yes....we had a fairy party. Pink and green was the theme. I used the plastic tablecloth fringes (from another post) for the ceiling decorations, pink sparkle fabric netting around the party area. Stars, glitter, fairy face painting and fairy bubbles was on the list.

Tinkerbell Cake

Tinkerbell...you sparkle!! This is the Tinkerbell cake I made for my daughters birthday recently.
The dress cake was Vanilla and Raspberry and the bottom was a carrot cake.
The fun part was adding the edible glitter...my whole kitchen was sparkling!!

Plastic Fringe Decorations

My daughters birthday is coming soon..so I have been testing out some fringe decorations.
I have seen this fringe idea done with crepe paper.
I decided to try it with the cheap plastic tablecloths ($2.00).
I just took the tablecloth out of the bag as it was, then cut it into strips. (I got 5 strips out of one tablecloth).
Then go back and cut a fringe along the edge, on one side, then turn it around and do the other side.
The plastic is a bit slippery to work with, but they turn out so well and I will be able to decorate the area, days beforehand using these. (The crepe paper soaks up alot of moisture).

Beachy memories

Love this shot.. of the beach, South Coast of NSW, Australia. I would love to wake up to this everyday.
I always try and bring back something to our house that reminds us of the beach. My parents live nearby this beach...we always go on walks and have fun..special memories!!!

New White kitchen

We have just finished renovating our old pink kitchen. We decided to go white..white..I designed a vinyl sticker with some of our favourite things added into the design. Coffee related words, beachwords are our fav. We have had friends over and they comment on the small tiles on the splashback, when I explain it is a sticker....they can't believe it. I love this idea..if I want a change of colour or design, I just remove the sticker.
